Understandably, many parents are anxious to have their kids return to school, but the recent rash of COVID infections resulting from college reopenings illustrate the perils of a hasty rush back to the classroom. How do you explain to parents that while, statistically, their kids may not suffer the catastrophic effects of the virus if contracted, those kids may spread it to others at home and beyond for whom this may be fatal?
